Background

Global Connect is a foreign (Canadian) owned registered Chinese company. We employ qualified, English speaking Chinese nationals to bridge the language and cultural barriers that stand in the way of making profitable business deals. We deal only directly with the manufacturing source and act as the only broker between the two parties. One of the largest advantages we have is that our head office is located in the heart of China. This allows us to look below the surface where the "up and coming" companies are and bring them into the western market place. There are no amount of business trips from abroad that could unveil this. Primarily, our goal is to make long term trade agreements by bringing manufacturers and purchasers together and acting as the advocate on both sides of the ocean.

Global Connect was founded by its president, Ryan Janz, and partner, Kurt Frers, in 2005. Ryan's business background includes over 25 years successful ownership and management of a homebuilding / development company and a furniture manufacturing company. He and his family make their permanent residence in Chengdu, Sichuan, China. Kurt was the head of International Mergers and Acquisitions and a partner in Price Waterhouse in Toronto, where he still resides. With his 30 years of international business experience in over 50 countries and Ryan's strong marketing, administration, and entrepreneurial skills; solid leadership and lasting stability are insured.
